Global Talent & Leadership Development Thought Leader
Amazon – Nestlé – United States Air Force
Kolbe Corp is proud to announce Dr. Rich Vincent as our Keynote Speaker at Conation Nation Symposium May 7, 2015
Rich Vincent launched his career with the United States Air Force where he served as the Director of Organizational Effectiveness for the 81st Air Control Squadron in Kadena, Japan and at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, near Tacoma, WA.
Since then, Rich has only flown higher! Over the past several years, he has leveraged his natural talents for diagnosing operational and leadership challenges within large organizations while developing outstanding skills for prescribing powerful and sustainable cutting-edge solutions, to become a prominent voice in the area of leadership development.
Only someone with extraordinary vision and drive would dare challenge an organization such as Nestlé to make a bold shift toward a higher-performing, results-oriented culture -- but that’s just what Rich did. After establishing Nestlé University in direct support of this culture shift, Rich was named Nestlé's Global Head of Leader Development. From that altitude, and reporting directly to the CEO, he researched, designed, and delivered Nestlé’s Innovation Immersion Program for high-potential talent. Rich insisted that the program include the creation of an internal venture capital board (chaired by the CEO) and the establishment of the Innovation Space program to help fast-track innovative projects. Under Rich’s bold tutelage, Nestlé earned Business Week’s seventh-best ranking – worldwide – for leadership development.
Recently, Rich served as the vice president of Talent and Leader Development for Amazon.com. He focused on building self-sustaining leadership and specialist pipelines at all levels of the organization by developing and implementing strategies that optimize human capital. To support Amazon’s rapid annual revenue growth, Rich created and implemented interventions that align with the company’s unique culture and reflect its mission, vision, and values. Additionally, he designed Amazon’s global core curriculum to create a learning and development pipeline for high-potential technical and non-technical leaders. Rich also researched, designed, and implemented the VP Leader Development Program, which utilizes the knowledge and experience of Amazon’s CEO and senior business leaders as tools for executive growth.
At Conation Nation Symposium, Rich will share his insights on talent development and the challenges that face the modern workforce. Welcome, Rich!
